In 1854, John Snow Discovered that cholera, once thought of as an airborne pathogen, was spread through contaminated water. By mapping the location of mortalities and interviewing the residents of London, Snow was able to trace the outbreak of cholera to its source, the Broad Street pump, thus exposing cholera's weakness, leading to its eradication in Britain, and marking one of the first epidemiological studies in history.

We will work with staff to determine cost estimates for various health-related activities either as program components or a separate program.
